My friend has a 19 year old Sealpoint Himilayan that is very skinny. She’s had so many tests done to see if there’s anything wrong. She asked me and I can’t find an answer besides the fact that when animals, much like humans, get old, they aren’t apt to gain weight. How often do you see a very old human being that is FAT?? Not often, I would say. Her vet said that she needs to put some weight on the cat. I was thinking Nutrical as a supplement, maybe?? Suggestions?? I’m stumped !

19 years old????? she’s old im sorry but she may just be dying of old age – they get skinny before they die
you really cant. a cat at 19 is in its nightime basically, you cant force it to do anything.
For having healthy than would just increase her good work.

try nutri-cal. its a high calorie paste that is malt flavored. most cats love it. you can get it at petsmart or probably any pet store.
